Yes, you can import your Illinois state permit.
When applying with an Illinois municipality, you’ll see a button at the top of the application labeled “Import Permit From ITAP.” Clicking this button lets you enter your Permit Number and Permit Key, which will automatically populate your local application with information from your state permit. Be sure to review the local application carefully to ensure accuracy before submitting.

Importing your permit from ITAP is optional—you can skip it and fill in the application fields manually.
Oxcart can only locate permits that begin with an R or S prefix.
You’ll find both the ITAP Permit Number and Permit Key in the approval email sent by the State.
