Is there a way for me to take a permit order or apply for a permit on an applicant's behalf?

As a municipal user, can I create an application from my Oxcart dashboard?

Yes, you can apply for permits on the applicant's behalf at your discretion, although this feature is only designed for new applicants, not applicants already associated with an Oxcart account.

1. Login to your municipal dashboard and navigate to the correct permit module before clicking +New Application.

2. The first table on the application will be used to create a new applicant record in Oxcart.  Email addresses already associated with an Oxcart account will yield an error message when the application is submitted.  It is extremely important that a valid email is provided so that applicants receive permit updates and instructions; please do not use a dummy email address!

3.  When all application fields have been completed, the application can be submitted and payment authorized.  Payment details will not be saved; any changes to the permit price during municipal review will require the applicant to "swipe" their credit card a second time.

Important Information regarding New Applications.

  • This feature can only be used once per customer email address.

  • Using this feature will create a new applicant account in Oxcart.
